🍽️ Crispy Meatloaf from the Air Fryer

Ingredients
- 2 shallots (peeled and finely diced)
- 1 small carrot(s) (finely diced)
- 1 beetroot (finely diced)
- 1 parsley root(s) (finely diced)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 300 g minced meat
- 1 egg(s)
- 2 tbsp panko
- 1 tbsp dijon mustard
- 1 tsp paprika powder, sweet (or baharat spice)
- 1 small chili pepper(s) (finely chopped)
- 1 pinch(es) sea salt and pepper (from the mill)
- 50 g feta cheese (finely diced)
- 1 bunch chervil (chopped)
Instructions
- 1. Heat a pan with a little olive oil over medium heat.
- 2. Finely chop the shallots and add them to the hot pan along with the vegetable cubes.
- 3. Sauté the vegetables until they turn slightly golden brown.
- 4. Remove the pan from the heat and let the vegetable mixture cool down completely.
- 5. Add the minced meat, the egg, the mustard, the paprika powder (or Baharat spice), and the panko breadcrumbs to a large bowl.
- 6. Mix all ingredients thoroughly with your hands or a spoon.
- 7. If desired, add the finely chopped chili pepper now.
- 8. Add the cooled vegetable mixture, the crumbled feta cheese, and the chopped chervil to the meat mixture.
- 9. Mix everything again thoroughly until a homogeneous mass is formed.
- 10. Finally, season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
- 11. Lightly grease a small ovenproof dish or a baking liner with oil.
- 12. Shape the meat mixture into a loaf and place it in the prepared dish.
- 13. Carefully place the dish into the Quick Clean Basket of the air fryer.
- 14. Preheat the air fryer to 170 °C.
- 15. Cook the meatloaf for 35 minutes at 170 °C in the air fryer.
- 16. Optional: Wrap thin slices of bacon around the finished loaf before serving.
