🍽️ Crispy Fan-Cut Sweet Potatoes from the Air Fryer

Ingredients
- 3 Sweet potato(es) (or potatoes)
- 2 Garlic clove(s)
- 2 Sprig(s) thyme
- 2 Sprig(s) oregano
- 100 g Butter (room temperature)
- 1 Pinch(es) sea salt
- 100 g Butter (room temperature)
- 10 ml Lemon juice
- 1 Pinch(es) sea salt
Instructions
- 1. Wash the sweet potatoes thoroughly under running water.
- 2. Place one sweet potato on the flat side of a large spoon.
- 3. Slice the sweet potato into thin slices using a sharp knife.
- 4. Make sure not to cut all the way through so the slices remain connected at the bottom.
- 5. Repeat this process for all sweet potatoes.
- 6. Finely chop the garlic cloves.
- 7. Pick the thyme and oregano leaves off the stems and chop them finely as well.
- 8. Mix the chopped herbs with the salt and soft butter in a small bowl.
- 9. Melt this herb butter over low heat in a pot or microwave until it is liquid.
- 10. Add the lemon juice, some salt, and the remaining butter into a separate small pot.
- 11. Melt this mixture over low heat as well until it is liquid.
- 12. Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C.
- 13. Brush the fan-cut potatoes generously with the herb butter.
- 14. Then brush the potatoes with the lemon-butter mixture.
- 15. Place the potatoes in the basket of the air fryer.
- 16. Cook the potatoes at 180 °C for 25 minutes until crispy.
