🍽️ Chicken in Red Wine Sauce from the Air Fryer

Ingredients
- 1 Shallot(s) (finely diced)
- 1 Stalk(s) Spring onion (cut into rings)
- 1 Carrot(s) (finely diced)
- 150 ml Poultry broth
- 100 ml Red wine (full-bodied)
- TSP Paprika powder
- 1 Clove(s) Garlic (pressed, peeled)
- 300 g Chicken meat (breast or thigh)
- Sea salt and pepper (from the mill)
- 1 Bay leaf
- 1 Sprig(s) Thyme
- some Lemon zest
- 3 Tbsp Olive oil
Instructions
- 1. Mix about two-thirds of the vegetables with the red wine and poultry broth in a bowl.
- 2. Add the paprika powder and garlic to the vegetable-spice liquid.
- 3. Wash the chicken and pat it dry with a kitchen towel.
- 4. Cut the chicken meat into large pieces.
- 5. Season the meat with salt and pepper.
- 6. Place the chicken pieces into the marinade and mix everything well.
- 7. Let the meat marinate for 20 to 30 minutes.
- 8. Put salt, thyme, lemon zest, and a bay leaf into a tea bag.
- 9. Seal the tea bag well.
- 10. Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C and add the olive oil to the baking insert.
- 11. Add the remaining vegetables to the insert and sweat them for 4 to 5 minutes.
- 12. Add the marinated chicken along with the remaining marinade and vegetables to the air fryer.
- 13. Braise the chicken for 20 to 25 minutes at 140 °C in the Quick Clean Basket.
- 14. Turn the chicken once in the middle of cooking.
- 15. Add the tea bag with the spices 10 minutes before the end of the cooking time.
- 16. Taste the dish at the end and adjust with salt and pepper.
