🍽️ Honey-Thyme Carrots in Airfryer with Fresh Lime Yogurt

Ingredients
- 1 tbsp coriander seeds
- 0.5 tsp fennel seeds
- 600 g carrots (peeled and cut into equal-sized sticks)
- 30 g honey (thyme honey, liquid)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1 thyme sprig(s) (picked)
- 1 pinch(es) sea salt
- 1 pinch(es) pepper (from the mill)
- 50 g yogurt, Greek
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1 lime(s) (the zest of it)
- 0.5 garlic clove(s) (pressed)
Instructions
- 1. Coarsely grind the coriander and fennel seeds in a mortar.
- 2. Toast the ground seeds in a pan without fat for 2 to 3 minutes.
- 3. Make sure the seeds do not burn, but only release their aromas.
- 4. Peel the carrots and cut them into sticks of equal size.
- 5. Mix all spices with the honey, olive oil, and lime juice to make a marinade.
- 6. Add the carrot sticks to the marinade and stir everything well.
- 7. Ensure that all carrots are completely covered with the marinade.
- 8. Preheat the air fryer to 200 °C.
- 9. Place the marinated carrots in the baking basket of the air fryer.
- 10. Cook the carrots in the Quick Clean Basket for 20 to 25 minutes until tender.
- 11. In the meantime, mix the yogurt with the remaining ingredients.
- 12. Finally, season the yogurt with a little sea salt.
