  1. 1. Slightly warm the milk and pour it into a large mixing bowl.
  2. 2. Crumble the yeast into the milk and stir in 15 grams of sugar.
  3. 3. Mix the ingredients well and let the mixture rest for 10 to 15 minutes to activate the yeast.
  4. 4. Now add all remaining dough ingredients to the bowl.
  5. 5. Knead the dough until smooth and cover the bowl with a damp cloth.
  6. 6. Let the dough rise in a warm place for about 1.5 hours until it has doubled in size.
  7. 7. Grease the baking pan for the air fryer and place the dough inside.
  8. 8. Cover the pan and let the dough rise again for 30 to 40 minutes in a warm place.
  9. 9. Score the surface of the dough in a cross pattern with a sharp knife to release tension.
  10. 10. Place the pan in the cold air fryer and set it to 150 °C convection.
  11. 11. Bake the bread for 15 to 20 minutes.
  12. 12. After 5 to 10 minutes of baking time, brush the surface with a little butter.
  13. 13. Remove the bread from the pan and let it cool completely on a wire rack.
