  2. 2. Place the sausage slices in the wire basket of the fryer.
  3. 3. Drizzle the sausage lightly with oil.
  4. 4. Fry the sausage slices for 5 to 6 minutes at 160 °C.
  5. 5. Shake the wire basket once to ensure even frying.
  6. 6. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of curry powder over the sausage.
  7. 7. Continue frying the seasoned sausage for another 5 minutes at 160 °C.
  8. 8. Place the sausage slices together with the tomatoes, curry ketchup, 1 tablespoon of paprika powder, and the herbs into the baking insert.
  9. 9. Mix all ingredients well in the insert.
  10. 10. Cook the mixture for another 5 to 7 minutes at 160 °C.
  11. 11. Dice the shallots finely.
  12. 12. Sauté the shallots in butter in a small pot.
  13. 13. Add 1 tablespoon of curry powder and 1 tablespoon of paprika powder to the onion mixture.
  14. 14. Deglaze the mixture with Coca-Cola.
  15. 15. Let the liquid reduce until it has halved.
  16. 16. Top up the sauce with the broth.
  17. 17. Let the sauce reduce again until it has halved.
  18. 18. Add the peeled tomatoes to the sauce.
  19. 19. Season the sauce with salt, pepper, and fresh herbs.
  20. 20. Optionally dust the finished currywurst with curry powder.
  21. 21. Serve the sausage with the warm sauce.
