🍰 Fluffy Quark-Crème-fraîche Cake in the Airfryer

Ingredients
- 1 Egg
- 40 g Sugar
- 1 packet Vanilla Sugar
- 20 g Vanilla Pudding Powder (for cooking (1/2 packet))
- 250 g Quark
- 100 g Crème Fraîche
- 1 sheet Puff Pastry
Instructions
- 1. Whisk sugar, egg, and vanilla sugar with a mixer or whisk until the mixture is creamy and pale.
- 2. Stir the vanilla pudding powder into the egg mixture until it is fully incorporated.
- 3. Add the quark (curd cheese) to the mixture and stir until smooth.
- 4. Gently fold in the crème fraîche until you have a uniform filling.
- 5. Cut the puff pastry to fit into your airfryer basket or pan.
- 6. Place the puff pastry in the pan and line it with baking paper to prevent sticking.
- 7. Press the dough at the edges into waves for a nice decorative look.
- 8. Pour the quark and crème fraîche filling into the puff pastry shell.
- 9. Preheat the airfryer to 180 °C.
- 10. Place the pan into the airfryer basket.
- 11. Bake the cake for 15 to 18 minutes at 180 °C until golden brown.
- 12. Remove the cake from the airfryer and let it cool down completely.
- 13. Serve the cooled cake with fresh fruits or compote.
