  1. 1. Whisk sugar, egg, and vanilla sugar with a mixer or whisk until the mixture is creamy and pale.
  2. 2. Stir the vanilla pudding powder into the egg mixture until it is fully incorporated.
  3. 3. Add the quark (curd cheese) to the mixture and stir until smooth.
  4. 4. Gently fold in the crème fraîche until you have a uniform filling.
  5. 5. Cut the puff pastry to fit into your airfryer basket or pan.
  6. 6. Place the puff pastry in the pan and line it with baking paper to prevent sticking.
  7. 7. Press the dough at the edges into waves for a nice decorative look.
  8. 8. Pour the quark and crème fraîche filling into the puff pastry shell.
  9. 9. Preheat the airfryer to 180 °C.
  10. 10. Place the pan into the airfryer basket.
  11. 11. Bake the cake for 15 to 18 minutes at 180 °C until golden brown.
