🍰 Crunchy Chocolate Cookies with Powdered Sugar

Ingredients
- 50 ml vegetable oil (neutral)
- 2 egg(s)
- 150 g sugar
- 60 g cocoa powder, unsweetened
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- 125 g flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- to taste salt
- to taste powdered sugar (sifted)
Instructions
- 1. Put the neutral vegetable oil and the eggs into a large bowl.
- 2. Add the sugar, the unsweetened cocoa powder, and the vanilla sugar (or vanilla extract).
- 3. Stir the mixture vigorously until it becomes thick and sticky.
- 4. Sprinkle the flour, the baking powder, and the salt over the mixture.
- 5. Knead everything together into a firm dough.
- 6. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap.
- 7. Let the dough rest in the refrigerator for at least four hours.
- 8. Take the dough out of the refrigerator.
- 9. Use a teaspoon to form small balls the size of a walnut.
- 10. Roll each ball generously in powdered sugar until completely covered.
- 11. Place the balls with some space between them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- 12. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius top and bottom heat.
- 13. Bake the cookies for 10 to 12 minutes.
- 14. Serve the crinkles best warm with vanilla ice cream as a dessert.
- 15. However, you can also enjoy them cooled as tasty cookies.
