🍽️ Christmas Quark-Stuffed Apples in the Air Fryer

Ingredients
- 4 Apples (red, sweet)
- 130 g Low-fat quark
- 1 Egg
- 45 g Cane sugar
- 2 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 Handful Raisins (or Cranberries)
- 50 g Almond flour
- 15 g Oat flakes
- 20 g Cane sugar
- 15 g Butter (melted)
Instructions
- 1. Cut off the apple stems and the top caps of the apples.
- 2. Hollow out the apples using a spoon.
- 3. Make sure the bottom and walls remain thick enough so the filling does not leak out.
- 4. Beat the egg with the sugar in a bowl until very frothy.
- 5. Stir the cinnamon and vanilla extract into the egg mixture.
- 6. Add the quark cheese and stir it in while stirring constantly.
- 7. Gently fold the raisins into the quark mixture.
- 8. Place the hollowed-out apples into the basket of the air fryer.
- 9. Carefully fill the apples with the quark and raisin mixture.
- 10. Mix the ground almonds, sugar, oat flakes, and butter in a small bowl.
- 11. Form a crumbly topping mixture from it.
- 12. Distribute this crumble mixture evenly over the stuffed apples.
- 13. Close the air fryer and set it to 180 °C.
- 14. Cook the apples for 15 minutes at this temperature.
- 15. Open the fryer and briefly check the doneness of the apples.
- 16. Lower the temperature to 160 °C and bake the apples for another 10 minutes.
- 17. Remove the finished baked apples and serve them immediately while warm.
