Ingredients

- 3 tbsp Oil
- 1 Garlic clove(s)
- Salt and pepper

Instructions
- 1. Peel the carrots thoroughly.
- 2. Cut the carrots into sticks.
- 3. Split thick carrots in half lengthwise or quarter them.
- 4. Dice the garlic clove finely.
- 5. Mix the oil with the diced garlic.
- 6. Season the oil-garlic mixture with salt and pepper.
- 7. Stir the spices well into the oil.
- 8. Add more herbs or spices to your liking.
- 9. Add the carrot sticks to the oil mixture.
- 10. Mix everything until the sticks are evenly coated with oil.
- 11. Let the marinated sticks rest for about 15 minutes.
- 12. Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C.
- 13. Line the fryer basket with baking paper.
- 14. Place the carrot sticks into the prepared air fryer.
- 15. Cook the sticks at 180 °C for 15 to 20 minutes.
- 16. Check the texture after 15 minutes.
- 17. Extend the cooking time if you prefer them crunchier.
- 18. Remove the finished sticks from the fryer.
- 19. Serve the carrot sticks warm as a side dish.
- 20. They pair excellently with potatoes.
