  1. 1. Grease a small Gugelhupf mold or the appropriate baking pan for the air fryer thoroughly with fat.
  2. 2. Put the eggs, oil, sugar, roughly chopped apple, roughly chopped carrot, chocolate pieces, and nuts into a food processor.
  3. 3. Chop all ingredients in the food processor into a coarse mixture.
  4. 4. Stir the mixture well with a spoon until it is evenly combined.
  5. 5. Add the flour and baking powder to the batter.
  6. 6. Stir in the dry ingredients until no more flour lumps are visible.
  7. 7. Pour the finished batter into the prepared mold.
  8. 8. Bake the cake at 160 °C for about 35 to 40 minutes.
  9. 9. Let the cake cool down completely in the mold.
  10. 10. Carefully remove the cake from the mold.
  11. 11. Sprinkle the cake with powdered sugar or cover it with glaze as desired.
