Instructions
- 1. Peel the sweet potatoes thoroughly.
- 2. Slice the sweet potatoes into paper-thin, even rounds using a vegetable peeler.
- 3. Place the slices into a large bowl.
- 4. Add some oil, salt, and pepper.
- 5. Toss everything well so that every slice is evenly seasoned.
- 6. Preheat the air fryer to 160 °C.
- 7. Place the sweet potato slices in the basket, but do not overcrowd it to ensure good air circulation.
- 8. Cook the chips for the first 8 minutes at 160 °C.
- 9. Remove the basket and shake it vigorously to ensure even cooking.
- 10. Increase the temperature to 180 °C.
- 11. Cook the chips for another 6 minutes at 180 °C.
- 12. Shake the basket again after about 2 minutes to prevent burning.
- 13. Remove the chips as soon as they are golden brown and crispy.
