Ingredients
- 500 g fish fillet(s) (by choice (recommended: cod loin fillet))
- 1 egg
- 0.5 lemon
- 100 g panko
- salt and pepper
Instructions
- 1. Line the basket of the air fryer with a piece of baking paper so the fish does not stick.
- 2. Season the fish fillets with a little lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
- 3. Divide the fish into suitable portions.
- 4. Whisk an egg in a deep plate.
- 5. Place panko breadcrumbs in a second, separate deep plate.
- 6. Dip a fish fillet into the beaten egg.
- 7. Coat the egg-dipped fillet in the panko breadcrumbs until fully covered.
- 8. Place the breaded fillet on the prepared baking paper in the basket.
- 9. Preheat the air fryer to 200 °C and cook the fish fillet for 14 to 15 minutes until crispy.
