🍽️ Crispy Chicken Nuggets and Fries from the Air Fryer

Ingredients
- 400 g potato(es) (mostly waxy)
- 1 tbsp oil
- a little salt and pepper
- a little paprika powder
- 2 chicken breast fillet(s)
- 1 egg(s)
- a little breadcrumbs
- a little parmesan
- a little paprika powder
- 2 tbsp oil
- as desired lime juice (or lemon juice)
Instructions
- 1. Start with the fries in the air fryer first, as they take longer to cook.
- 2. Peel the potatoes and cut them into sticks.
- 3. Place the potato sticks in a bowl of cold water for about 20 minutes.
- 4. Take the potatoes out of the water and rinse them thoroughly.
- 5. Dry the potatoes and mix them in a bowl with oil, salt, pepper, and paprika powder.
- 6. Place the seasoned potatoes into the air fryer basket.
- 7. Preheat the air fryer to 160 °C and bake the fries for about 20 minutes until crispy.
- 8. Cut the chicken fillet into bite-sized pieces.
- 9. Season the chicken pieces with salt and pepper.
- 10. Coat the chicken pieces one by one in flour, beaten egg, and the breadcrumb mixture.
- 11. Mix the breadcrumbs with paprika powder, salt, and grated Parmesan beforehand.
- 12. Lightly brush the breaded nuggets with oil or spray them.
- 13. Place the nuggets into the air fryer.
- 14. Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C and bake the nuggets for about 11 minutes until golden brown.
- 15. Serve the nuggets and fries with cucumber salad, clear broth, ketchup, and mayonnaise.
