🍕 Crispy Zucchini Pizza Rounds

Ingredients
- 4 tbsp tomato paste
- 3 tbsp water
- salt and pepper
- 0.5 tsp oregano
- 0.5 small onion(s) (chopped)
- 2 clove(s) of garlic (chopped)
- 1 medium-sized zucchini
- to taste cheese (finely grated (e.g. Parmesan or Gouda))
- to taste cherry tomatoes (sliced)
- to taste oregano
- to taste olive oil (for frying the zucchini)
Instructions
- 1. Put the tomato paste into a small bowl.
- 2. Add the remaining ingredients for the sauce.
- 3. Stir everything well until you have a uniform mixture.
- 4. Set the sauce aside until you need it later.
- 5. Rinse the zucchini under running water.
- 6. Slice the zucchini into rounds.
- 7. Make sure the rounds are about half a centimeter thick.
- 8. Heat some olive oil in a frying pan.
- 9. Place the zucchini rounds in the hot pan.
- 10. Fry the first side for about one minute.
- 11. Turn the rounds over.
- 12. Fry the second side for about one minute as well.
- 13. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
- 14. Arrange the pre-fried zucchini rounds on the tray.
- 15. Use a spoon to spread the prepared tomato sauce over the rounds.
- 16. Sprinkle the cheese evenly over the top.
- 17. Place the tomato slices on top of the cheese.
- 18. Sprinkle the dried oregano over the top.
- 19. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
- 20. Set the baking mode to top and bottom heat.
- 21. Slide the baking tray into the preheated oven.
- 22. Bake the bites for about five to six minutes.
- 23. Take the tray out of the oven when the cheese is melted.
- 24. The zucchini pizza bites are now ready.
- 25. Enjoy them warm or cold.
