🍰 Fluffy Plum Cake with Marzipan

Ingredients
- 500 g flour
- 250 ml milk
- 1 cube yeast
- 75 g sugar
- 75 g butter
- 1 pinch(es) salt
- 1 egg(s)
- 200 g marzipan raw mass
- 2 egg(s)
- 1 tsp cinnamon powder
- 50 g almond(s) (sliced)
- 2 kg plum(s) (approx.)
Instructions
- 1. Crumble the yeast into the lukewarm milk.
- 2. Stir the milk with a whisk until the yeast has dissolved.
- 3. Add flour, sugar, butter, egg, salt, and the yeast milk to a bowl.
- 4. Mix the ingredients into a soft dough.
- 5. Knead the dough into a ball with your hands.
- 6. Cover the dough ball.
- 7. Let the dough rise at room temperature for 30 minutes.
- 8. Cut the marzipan base into small pieces.
- 9. Mix the marzipan pieces with the eggs and cinnamon.
- 10. Stir the mixture until it is smooth.
- 11. Knead the dough briefly on a lightly floured surface after rising.
- 12. Roll out the dough on a greased baking sheet.
- 13. Spread the marzipan mixture evenly over the dough base.
- 14. Halve the plums and remove the pits.
- 15. Place the plums on the dough with the cut side facing up in a shingled pattern.
- 16. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius top and bottom heat.
- 17. Bake the cake in the oven for 30 minutes.
