  2. 2. Cut the zucchini in half lengthwise.
  3. 3. Carefully scoop out the inside of the zucchini halves with a spoon without damaging the skin.
  4. 4. Finely chop the removed zucchini flesh.
  5. 5. Finely dice the mushrooms, onions, and garlic.
  6. 6. Mix the chopped zucchini flesh with the diced mushrooms, onions, and garlic.
  7. 7. Stir the cream cheese into the vegetable mixture.
  8. 8. Season the filling generously with salt and pepper.
  9. 9. Mix all ingredients well until a homogeneous filling is formed.
  10. 10. Fill the zucchini halves with the mixture.
  11. 11. Smooth the surface of the filling.
  12. 12. Lightly grease a baking dish with oil.
  13. 13. Place the stuffed zucchini in the prepared baking dish.
  14. 14. Generously sprinkle the zucchini with grated Cheddar or Gouda cheese.
