🍲 Cozy Cabbage and Minced Meat Stew

Ingredients
- 0.5 white cabbage
- 400 g potatoes, waxy
- 2 tbsp oil
- 400 g minced meat, mixed
- 1 tsp caraway seeds (whole)
- 1 tsp paprika powder, sweet
- salt and pepper
- 1 liter meat broth (hot)
- 1 bay leaf
- 0.5 bunch parsley (chopped)
Instructions
- 1. Cut the white cabbage in half.
- 2. Remove the hard core from the center.
- 3. Cut the cabbage into cubes about 2 centimeters in size.
- 4. Peel the potatoes.
- 5. Slice the potatoes into rounds about 1 centimeter thick.
- 6. Heat the oil in a large pot.
- 7. Brown the mixed minced meat together with the cumin over high heat until it forms coarse crumbs.
- 8. Season the meat with sweet paprika powder, salt, and pepper.
- 9. Layer the potatoes and white cabbage on top of the meat.
- 10. Pour in the hot meat broth.
- 11. Add the bay leaf to the pot.
- 12. Let the stew simmer covered for about 30 minutes over low heat.
- 13. Remove the bay leaf from the pot.
- 14. Sprinkle the stew with about half a bunch of chopped parsley.
- 15. Sprinkle the stew with a little sweet paprika powder.
- 16. Serve the stew.
