🍽️ Savory Campfire Bread

Ingredients
- 1 kg flour
- 1 cube fresh yeast (42 g) or 2 packets dry yeast (total 14 g)
- 3.5 tsp salt
- 3.5 tbsp oil
- 500 ml water, lukewarm
- some bread spice mix ((fennel, cumin, coriander), to taste)
- 2 clove(s) garlic (pressed)
Instructions
- 1. Dissolve the fresh yeast in a little water. Add all ingredients to a bowl and knead the dough vigorously, preferably using a food processor. Let the dough rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes (a bit longer if using dry yeast) until it has clearly increased in size.
- 2. Wrap the dough into long, thin rolls around sturdy sticks. Hold the sticks in the embers (or near the flame, but not directly in the fire) until the bread is crispy and brown. Remove from the stick and eat immediately.
