Ingredients
- 4 pork cutlets
- 3 garlic clove(s)
- 2 onion(s)
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 3 tsp marjoram
- 2 tsp thyme
- 3 tsp paprika powder, sweet
- 1 tsp cumin
- salt and pepper
- 6 cl olive oil
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the meat cutlets under cold water and then pat them completely dry with kitchen paper.
- 2. Cut the meat into thin strips.
- 3. Peel the onions and the garlic.
- 4. Mince the garlic very finely.
- 5. Cut the onions into thin strips.
- 6. Grind the cumin seeds in a mortar into fine powder.
- 7. Put the meat, onions, garlic, and all spices into a large bowl or container.
- 8. Mix everything thoroughly so that the meat can absorb the spices well.
- 9. Let the marinade rest in the refrigerator overnight if possible.
- 10. Heat a pan very hot.
- 11. Fry the marinated Gyros meat until crispy on all sides.
