  1. 1. Take the butter out of the fridge and let it sit at room temperature for a short while until it becomes soft.
  2. 2. Put the soft butter into a bowl.
  3. 3. Stir the butter vigorously with a spoon or fork until it becomes creamy and smooth.
  4. 4. Peel the garlic cloves and chop them very finely.
  5. 5. Place the finely chopped garlic pieces on a pinch of salt.
  6. 6. Press the garlic firmly with the flat side of a knife and mash it into a soft paste.
  7. 7. Add the garlic paste to the creamy butter.
  8. 8. Wash the fresh herbs, dry them, and chop them finely.
  9. 9. Add the chopped herbs to the butter-garlic mixture.
  10. 10. Mix everything well together until the herbs and garlic are evenly distributed in the butter.
  11. 11. Taste the butter and add a little more salt if needed.
  12. 12. Optionally add a pinch of pepper if you like.
  13. 13. Shape the herb butter into a roll or place it into a small container.
  14. 14. Put the finished butter in the fridge for a few minutes to let it firm up.
