  1. 1. Mix the lukewarm water with the sugar, the dry yeast, and two tablespoons of flour.
  2. 2. Let the mixture rest for 15 minutes.
  3. 3. Stir in the remaining flour with the salt.
  4. 4. Add the yeast-sugar mixture and one tablespoon of oil.
  5. 5. Knead everything for 10 minutes until you have a smooth dough.
  6. 6. Lightly grease a bowl.
  7. 7. Place the dough inside and cover it.
  8. 8. Let the dough rise in a warm place for 45 to 60 minutes until it has doubled in size.
  9. 9. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
  10. 10. Peel the garlic cloves and chop them finely.
  11. 11. Wash the parsley and pat it dry.
  12. 12. Cut off the tough stems and chop the leaves finely.
  13. 13. Pluck the thyme leaves from the stems.
  14. 14. Grate the cheese.
  15. 15. Mix all these ingredients with 50 milliliters of olive oil.
  16. 16. Season the mixture with salt.
  17. 17. Grease a springform pan.
  18. 18. Line the bottom with baking paper.
  19. 19. Knead the dough briefly.
  20. 20. Shape it into a roll.
  21. 21. Cut the roll into slices about six centimeters thick.
  22. 22. Gently mix the slices with the cheese and garlic mixture.
  23. 23. Arrange them fanned out in a ring shape in the baking pan.
  24. 24. Bake the bread for about 35 minutes until golden brown.
