Ingredients
- 500 g wheat flour
- 1 cube fresh yeast
- 50 g sugar
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- 1 pinch(es) salt
- 1 egg(s)
- 250 ml milk, lukewarm
- 100 g butter, soft
- flour for the work surface
- 200 g butter
- 125 g sugar
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- 150 g sliced almonds
Instructions
- 1. Warm the milk until it is lukewarm.
- 2. Stir the yeast into the warm milk until it has dissolved.
- 3. Add the flour.
- 4. Add sugar, butter, vanilla sugar, salt, and an egg.
- 5. Process the ingredients with the dough hooks of your hand mixer to form a dough.
- 6. Then knead the dough smooth by hand.
- 7. Let the dough rise for one hour.
- 8. Knead the dough briefly on a work surface lightly dusted with flour.
- 9. Shape it into a roll.
- 10. Roll it out on the baking sheet.
- 11. Distribute the butter in small pieces evenly over the dough.
- 12. Mix the sugar with the vanilla sugar.
- 13. Sprinkle the sugar mixture over it.
- 14. Distribute the almonds evenly.
- 15. Let the cake rest for 15 minutes.
- 16. Place the tray in the preheated oven.
- 17. Bake the cake at 200 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat for 20 minutes.
