🍰 Classic Tiramisu – an absolute delight

Ingredients
- 500 g mascarpone
- 100 g powdered sugar
- 200 g ladyfingers
- 4 egg yolks
- 2 egg whites
- 3 cup(s) coffee, boiled (cooled)
- 2 tbsp Amaretto (possibly also 3)
- cocoa powder, unsweetened (for dusting)
Instructions
- 1. Beat the egg yolks with the powdered sugar until the mixture is pale and foamy.
- 2. Stir the Amaretto liqueur into the egg yolk mixture.
- 3. Gently fold the mascarpone cheese into the mixture.
- 4. Use a large whisk or a cooking spoon and not an electric mixer so that the cream does not become too runny.
- 5. Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
- 6. Gently fold the stiff snow into the rest of the cream.
- 7. Dip the ladyfinger biscuits briefly into the cold coffee.
- 8. Let the biscuits drip dry slightly on kitchen paper.
- 9. Spread a layer of the cream in your dish.
- 10. Place a layer of the biscuits on the cream.
- 11. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used up.
- 12. Place the dessert in the refrigerator for about 2 to 4 hours.
- 13. It is best to put it in the refrigerator overnight.
- 14. Dust the tiramisu with cocoa powder just before serving.
