Ingredients
- 300 g flour
- 30 g cocoa powder, unsweetened
- 2 tsp, level baking powder
- 150 g sugar
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- 1 egg(s)
- 150 g butter

- 500 g low-fat quark
- 200 g sugar
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- 3 egg(s)
- 1 packet vanilla pudding powder
- 1 vanilla pod(s), use the seeds
Instructions
- 1. Put the flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder into a large bowl.
- 2. Add the remaining dough ingredients.
- 3. Knead the mixture with a mixer until you have a smooth dough.
- 4. Shape the dough into a ball.
- 5. Wrap the ball in plastic wrap.
- 6. Place the dough in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- 7. Melt the butter in a saucepan.
- 8. Let the melted butter cool down.
- 9. Grease the bottom of a 26-centimeter springform pan.
- 10. Roll out half of the dough with a rolling pin.
- 11. Line the pan with the dough.
- 12. Make sure to create a border about 2 centimeters high.
- 13. Whisk the quark, sugar, and vanilla sugar with a whisk.
- 14. Add the seeds from one vanilla pod.
- 15. Stir the eggs into the quark mixture.
- 16. Add the pudding powder.
- 17. Stir in the cooled butter.
- 18. Whisk everything until you have a creamy mixture.
- 19. Pour the quark mixture into the prepared pan.
- 20. Smooth out the surface.
- 21. Tear the remaining dough into small pieces.
- 22. Distribute the dough pieces evenly over the quark filling.
- 23. Place the pan on the rack in the lower third of the preheated oven.
- 24. Bake the cake at 180 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat for about 60 minutes.
- 25. Let the cake cool down completely in the pan on a wire rack after baking.
