  1. 1. Dissolve the yeast in the lukewarm water.
  2. 2. Mix flour and salt in a bowl.
  3. 3. Add the yeast water.
  4. 4. Stir everything with a fork until no flour lumps remain.
  5. 5. Cover the bowl.
  6. 6. Let the dough rise for 1.5 hours.
  7. 7. Cut out three baguettes or nine rolls from the dough (it is very soft and not moldable).
  8. 8. Bake them either in a baguette pan or roll pan in a preheated oven at 240 °C convection with a water tray at the bottom for about 25 minutes.
  9. 9. Convection is not the same as fan-assisted!
  10. 10. If your oven has no convection, bake at 250 degrees top/bottom heat.
  11. 11. Do not shape, knead, or otherwise work the dough, but simply slide it from the bowl into the pan as is.
  12. 12. Dust with flour for a rustic look.
