🍽️ Magical Baguette Baked from Scratch – Basic Recipe

Ingredients
- 375 g flour
- 12 g fresh yeast
- 8 g salt
- 300 ml water, lukewarm
- flour (for dusting)
Instructions
- 1. Dissolve the yeast in the lukewarm water.
- 2. Mix flour and salt in a bowl.
- 3. Add the yeast water.
- 4. Stir everything with a fork until no flour lumps remain.
- 5. Cover the bowl.
- 6. Let the dough rise for 1.5 hours.
- 7. Cut out three baguettes or nine rolls from the dough (it is very soft and not moldable).
- 8. Bake them either in a baguette pan or roll pan in a preheated oven at 240 °C convection with a water tray at the bottom for about 25 minutes.
- 9. Convection is not the same as fan-assisted!
- 10. If your oven has no convection, bake at 250 degrees top/bottom heat.
- 11. Do not shape, knead, or otherwise work the dough, but simply slide it from the bowl into the pan as is.
- 12. Dust with flour for a rustic look.
