🍽️ Cauliflower and Minced Meat Casserole

Ingredients
- 1 kg minced meat, mixed
- 1 cauliflower
- 200 g bacon
- 1 large onion(s)
- 3 egg(s)
- salt and pepper
- mustard to taste
- cumin
- marjoram
- paprika powder
- 50 g low-fat quark
- bacon (diced) to taste
- cheese, grated to taste
Instructions
- 1. Wash the cauliflower and remove the outer leaves and the hard lower stem.
- 2. Cut a cross into the hard core at the bottom of the cauliflower.
- 3. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil.
- 4. Boil the cauliflower head in the water for about 10 minutes until it is tender.
- 5. Dice the onions into very small cubes.
- 6. Season the minced meat with salt, pepper, mustard, cumin, marjoram, and paprika powder.
- 7. Mix the onion cubes, the eggs, and the quark with the seasoned meat.
- 8. Drain the cooking water from the cauliflower.
- 9. Place the hot cauliflower into a slightly larger baking dish.
- 10. Spread the meat mixture evenly over the cauliflower.
- 11. Lay the bacon strips across the entire surface.
- 12. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 13. Bake the casserole for about one hour.
- 14. Serve the dish with a fresh salad, boiled potatoes, or a light sauce.
