🍽️ Crispy Chicken Cubes with Sesame-Honey Glaze and Peking Sauce

Ingredients
- 600 g chicken breast fillet(s)
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 2 clove(s) garlic (mashed)
- 2 tsp ginger (freshly grated)
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp soy sauce (dark)
- 1 tbsp sherry
- salt and pepper
- 4 tbsp flour
- optional oil (for frying or 1 measuring spoon sesame oil for the Actifry)
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp sesame
- 2 clove(s) garlic (very finely chopped)
- 2.5 tbsp soy sauce (dark)
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp chili sauce (sweet, optional)
Instructions
- 1. Whisk all marinade ingredients together in a bowl.
- 2. Cut the chicken breast into approx. 2 cm cubes.
- 3. Place the chicken cubes in the marinade and let them marinate in the fridge for approx. 12 hours.
- 4. Remove the meat from the marinade and let it drain well.
- 5. Toss the chicken cubes in flour until they are lightly coated all over.
- 6. Preheat the air fryer (ActiFry) and cook the meat with oil for approx. 28 minutes.
- 7. Add the honey and sesame seeds and cook the dish for another 2 minutes until crispy.
- 8. In the meantime, mix all ingredients for the Peking sauce together.
- 9. Serve the chicken cubes with the sauce in separate bowls so everyone can add sauce to their liking.
- 10. Serve the dish with rice as a side.
