Ingredients
- 125 g Butter
- 150 g Sugar
- 150 g Flour
- 2 Egg(s)
- 150 ml Sour Cream
- 2 Tbsp, leveled Cocoa Powder
- 1 Pkt. Baking Powder
- 1 Tbsp Cinnamon Powder
- 125 g Couverture (dark chocolate)
- 12 Piece(s) Chocolate Decor (Chocolate Lentils), red
- 24 Marshmallow(s) (Mini)
- 24 Piece(s) Chocolate Decor (Chocolate Drops)
- 12 Cookie(s) (Mini Softcakes)
- 24 Piece(s) Chocolate Decor (Mini Chocolate Pretzels)
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
- 2. Melt the butter in a small pot.
- 3. Put the egg whites in a separate bowl.
- 4. Beat the egg whites with a mixer until stiff peaks form.
- 5. Mix all other batter ingredients thoroughly in a large bowl.
- 6. Gently fold the egg whites into the batter using a spoon.
- 7. Fill the mixture into 12 muffin cups.
- 8. Bake the muffins for about 15 minutes in the oven.
- 9. Let the muffins cool down completely afterwards.
- 10. Melt the chocolate coating in a double boiler or in the microwave.
- 11. Cut the marshmallows in half.
- 12. Stick a chocolate drop onto the sticky cut side of each marshmallow half to serve as a pupil.
- 13. Coat the cooled muffins thinly with the melted chocolate coating.
- 14. Stick two chocolate pretzels on top of the coating to look like antlers.
- 15. Place two marshmallow eyes on the muffin.
- 16. Put a softcake (small, soft cookie) as a face under the eyes.
- 17. Stick a chocolate lens as a red nose in the center of the cookie using a bit of coating.
