  1. 1. Put oat bran and baking powder in a microwave-safe bowl and mix. Add the quark and the egg and stir well. Season with salt and spices and let it swell for about 10 minutes.
  2. 2. Cover the bowl and microwave for 3 minutes. Then remove it, flip the mixture, and heat it for another minute without the cover.
  3. 3. If you like, you can toast it again, but I cut it in half, spread cream cheese on it, add ham and cheese, and put it in the sandwich toaster.
  4. 4. If the mixture doesn't flip easily in the bowl, take it out and press it back against the bowl wall with a spoon, flipped over.
  5. 5. It tastes fantastic and contains only about 7 grams of carbohydrates.
