Ingredients
- 20 g oat bran
- 1 egg
- 45 g quark (or skimmed milk quark)
- 1 tsp baking powder
- some salt (and spices to your liking)
- 1 tbsp cream cheese
- 1 slice ham (or other sausage)
- 1 slice cheese
Instructions
- 1. Put oat bran and baking powder in a microwave-safe bowl and mix. Add the quark and the egg and stir well. Season with salt and spices and let it swell for about 10 minutes.
- 2. Cover the bowl and microwave for 3 minutes. Then remove it, flip the mixture, and heat it for another minute without the cover.
- 3. If you like, you can toast it again, but I cut it in half, spread cream cheese on it, add ham and cheese, and put it in the sandwich toaster.
- 4. If the mixture doesn't flip easily in the bowl, take it out and press it back against the bowl wall with a spoon, flipped over.
- 5. It tastes fantastic and contains only about 7 grams of carbohydrates.
