Ingredients
- 280 g flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp, leveled salt
- 250 g butter, softened
- 260 g sugar
- 2 egg(s)
- 300 g chocolate chips (chocolate chips, semi-sweet)
Instructions
- 1. Beat the butter and sugar with the hand mixer for three minutes until creamy.
- 2. Add the eggs and mix for another three minutes until the mixture is particularly smooth.
- 3. Mix flour, baking soda (leavening agent), and salt in a separate bowl.
- 4. Add the dry mixture to the butter mixture and stir gently with a spoon.
- 5. Stir only until no flour is visible and a dough forms.
- 6. Gently fold the chocolate chips into the dough.
- 7. Line a baking sheet with two layers of baking paper.
- 8. Preheat the oven to 190 °C (convection mode).
- 9. Form dough mounds the size of a plum and place them on the baking paper.
- 10. Press the mounds down slightly and ensure they are all the same size.
- 11. Bake the cookies in the hot oven for about 10 to 13 minutes.
- 12. Take the cookies out when they are still very soft.
- 13. Let the cookies cool for 20 minutes until they sink in the middle.
