Ingredients
- 250 g flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 30 g yogurt
- 125 g water, lukewarm
- a little butter
Instructions
- 1. Put the flour, the salt, and the baking powder into a bowl.
- 2. Knead the yogurt and the water into the dry ingredients.
- 3. Work the dough until it forms a uniform mass.
- 4. Cover the dough with plastic wrap.
- 5. Let the dough rest in a quiet place for one hour.
- 6. Divide the finished dough into six equal pieces.
- 7. Roll each piece of dough into a thin flatbread.
- 8. Brush the flatbreads thinly with butter.
- 9. Fold each flatbread once so that the buttered side faces outward.
- 10. Roll the folded flatbreads flat again.
- 11. Preheat a pan well without additional fat.
- 12. Cook the breads in the hot pan for about one minute per side.
