🥤 Fluffy Cinnamon Rolls with Cream Cheese Glaze

Ingredients
- 200 ml milk
- 50 g butter
- 450 g flour (if needed, possibly a little more)
- 0.5 tsp salt
- 70 g sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 cube fresh yeast

- 50 g butter, softened
- 130 g sugar, brown
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 100 g cream cheese
- 30 g butter
- 100 g powdered sugar (sifted)
- 4 drops vanilla flavoring
Instructions
- 1. Warm the milk together with the butter in a pot.
- 2. Remove the milk-butter mixture from the heat until the butter is completely melted.
- 3. Put 450 grams of flour, salt, sugar, and an egg into a large bowl.
- 4. Make a well in the flour mixture.
- 5. Crumble the yeast into this well.
- 6. Pour the warm milk-butter mixture in.
- 7. Knead everything from the center outwards to form a smooth dough.
- 8. If the dough is too sticky, add a little flour bit by bit.
- 9. Stop adding flour as soon as the dough is easy to handle.
- 10. Cover the bowl.
- 11. Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
- 12. Roll the dough out into a rectangle on a work surface.
- 13. Spread the butter over the dough surface.
- 14. Mix sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
- 15. Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the dough.
- 16. Leave a small border on the dough free.
- 17. Roll the dough tightly from the long side.
- 18. Cut the dough into 2 to 3 cm thick slices.
- 19. Grease a baking dish.
- 20. Place the dough pieces with the cut side down in the dish.
- 21. Cover the dish.
- 22. Let the rolls rise for another 30 minutes.
- 23. Whisk all the ingredients for the glaze in a bowl.
- 24. Check the consistency of the glaze.
- 25. If the glaze is too thick, add a little milk.
- 26. Make sure the glaze does not become too runny.
- 27. Preheat the oven to 180 °C top and bottom heat.
- 28. Bake the rolls for approx. 15 to 20 minutes.
- 29. Take the rolls out of the oven.
- 30. Spread the glaze over the warm rolls.
- 31. Serve the rolls.
