Ingredients
- 500 g chicken breast fillet(s)
- 1 onion(s) (chopped small)
- 4 spring onion(s) (cut into rings)
- 150 ml cream
- 150 ml broth
- 1 tbsp curry powder
- some oil
- some butter
- salt and pepper
- to taste lemon juice
- 2 tbsp flour
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the chicken breast and pat it dry.
- 2. Cut the meat into small, bite-sized cubes.
- 3. Season the meat pieces generously with salt and black pepper.
- 4. Heat some oil in a large pan.
- 5. Fry the meat pieces on all sides briefly until they are lightly browned.
- 6. Remove the meat from the pan and set it aside.
- 7. Add the chopped onions and spring onions to the hot fat.
- 8. Sauté the vegetables briefly.
- 9. Stir the curry powder and flour into the vegetables.
- 10. Toast the spices and flour briefly to roast them.
- 11. Deglaze the mixture with the broth.
- 12. Stir the cream into the sauce.
- 13. Return the fried chicken meat to the pan.
- 14. Let the sauce come to a brief boil.
- 15. Let the curry simmer gently for a few minutes.
- 16. Season the curry with salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
