  1. 1. Use the empty cream cup as a measuring cup for the water.
  2. 2. Dice the ham. Add all ingredients except the cheese to a pot, stir briefly and bring to a boil. After about 5 minutes of cooking time, add half of the cheese and stir it in gently.
  3. 3. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and sprinkle the remaining cheese evenly on top so it melts nicely while baking.
  4. 4. Place the dish in an oven preheated to 180 degrees Celsius (convection mode) on the middle rack. Bake the casserole for about 20 to 30 minutes until the cheese is golden brown and bubbling.
