  1. 1. Mix all the sauce ingredients in a bowl.
  2. 2. Heat the sauce in the microwave for 25 seconds.
  3. 3. Stir the sauce again after heating.
  4. 4. Let the sauce sit in the fridge overnight so the onions rehydrate.
  5. 5. Fry the minced meat in a pan over high heat.
  6. 6. Season the meat with salt and pepper.
  7. 7. Let the meat cool down completely.
  8. 8. Halve the hamburger buns.
  9. 9. Toast the bun halves lightly.
  10. 10. Cut the buns into cubes of about 2 x 2 cm.
  11. 11. Save four bun tops for the top layer.
  12. 12. Cube these four halves as well.
  13. 13. Cut the iceberg lettuce into bite-sized pieces.
  14. 14. Add one-third of the bun cubes to a large glass bowl.
  15. 15. Spread half of the lettuce on the buns.
  16. 16. Add half of the sauce on top.
  17. 17. Spread half of the meat on the lettuce.
  18. 18. Place a layer of cheese slices on top.
  19. 19. Add the remaining bun cubes (except the four tops for the top).
  20. 20. Spread the rest of the lettuce on top.
  21. 21. Add the second half of the sauce on top.
  22. 22. Place a layer of pickle slices on top.
  23. 23. Spread the second half of the meat on the pickles.
  24. 24. Place the cubed bun tops on the salad so that the sesame side faces up.
