Ingredients
- 1 Carrot(s) (not too thin)
- 40 Grapes (blue)
- some Parsley
- 200 g Cream cheese
Instructions
- 1. Slice the carrot into thick rounds that are about three to four millimeters thick.
- 2. Cut a small triangle out of each carrot slice by making two cuts towards the center of the slice.
- 3. Set the cut triangles aside, as they will serve as beaks later.
- 4. Make a small slit in a small red grape.
- 5. Insert a carrot triangle into this slit to attach the beak.
- 6. Cut out a third of a larger grape to create an opening.
- 7. Carefully fill this opening with cream cheese to form the penguin's white belly.
- 8. Skewer the small grape (head) on top and the large grape (belly) on the bottom onto a toothpick.
- 9. Attach the remaining carrot slices at the bottom of the skewer as feet.
- 10. Slide a small parsley leaf onto the very top of the skewer.
- 11. Repeat the process with the remaining ingredients for more penguins.
- 12. Arrange the finished penguins nicely on a plate.
- 13. Present the penguins on the party buffet, as they are perfect for children's birthdays and make a healthy treat.
