Ingredients

Instructions

  1. 1. Prepare some wooden skewers or toothpicks.
  2. 2. Cut off a small piece from the bottom of the cucumber so it stands firmly on the plate and does not roll away. Save this piece to shape the crocodile's feet.
  3. 3. Make a cut about five centimeters long at the front of the cucumber. Use the knife to cut small zig-zags at the top and bottom of the opening to simulate teeth. Cut a split tongue from the carrot and place it in the mouth.
  4. 4. Insert skewers into the top of the cucumber until it is completely covered. Before placing each skewer, put a cocktail tomato and a mini mozzarella cheese on it.
  5. 5. Above the snout, insert two skewers, each with a mozzarella ball as eyes. You can decorate these with a dollop of soft chocolate or Nutella to make them look even more realistic.
  6. 6. This recipe is very popular with children. You can adjust the ingredients as you like, for example, put cocktail sausages or a grape on the skewers. I often bring it to birthdays at kindergarten instead of cake.
