Ingredients
- 1 cucumber(s)
- 1 packet cocktail tomatoes
- 1 packet mozzarella (mini)
- 1 carrot(s)
Instructions
- 1. Prepare some wooden skewers or toothpicks.
- 2. Cut off a small piece from the bottom of the cucumber so it stands firmly on the plate and does not roll away. Save this piece to shape the crocodile's feet.
- 3. Make a cut about five centimeters long at the front of the cucumber. Use the knife to cut small zig-zags at the top and bottom of the opening to simulate teeth. Cut a split tongue from the carrot and place it in the mouth.
- 4. Insert skewers into the top of the cucumber until it is completely covered. Before placing each skewer, put a cocktail tomato and a mini mozzarella cheese on it.
- 5. Above the snout, insert two skewers, each with a mozzarella ball as eyes. You can decorate these with a dollop of soft chocolate or Nutella to make them look even more realistic.
- 6. This recipe is very popular with children. You can adjust the ingredients as you like, for example, put cocktail sausages or a grape on the skewers. I often bring it to birthdays at kindergarten instead of cake.
