  1. 1. Heat the butter in the microwave for 2 minutes at 600 Watts.
  2. 2. Stir in the cold milk until the mixture is lukewarm.
  3. 3. Knead a soft yeast dough from the liquid and the specified ingredients.
  4. 4. Let the dough rise covered in a warm place (e.g., in a pot filled with warm water) until it almost doubles in size.
  5. 5. Shape the dough into a roll and cut it into 8 equal pieces.
  6. 6. Place either 1 teaspoon of plum butter, Nutella, or a piece of chocolate on each piece of dough.
  7. 7. Fold the dough over the filling and shape them into round dumplings.
  8. 8. Lightly grease a heat-resistant and microwave-safe baking dish (approx. 3 liters).
  9. 9. Place the dumplings in the dish and let them rise again for 20 minutes covered.
  10. 10. Heat the ingredients for the glaze in the microwave for 2 minutes at 360 Watts.
  11. 11. Stir the glaze well and pour it evenly over the dumplings.
  12. 12. Sprinkle 1-2 tablespoons of sugar over the dumplings.
  13. 13. Bake the dumplings at 190 °C convection and 600 Watts microwave for 8 minutes with the lid (do not preheat the oven).
  14. 14. Remove the lid and bake them for another approx. 10 minutes only in the oven (without microwave) until they are nicely browned.
  15. 15. Serve the warm dumplings with a thick vanilla sauce.
