🍽️ Fluffy Stuffed Yeast Dumplings

Ingredients
- 280 g flour
- 50 g sugar
- 60 g butter
- 150 ml milk
- 1 pinch(es) salt
- 1 egg
- 30 g yeast (fresh (or 1 pk. dry yeast))
- 125 ml milk
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 20 g butter
- 1 pinch(es) cinnamon
- 8 tsp plum puree (or 8 pcs. milk chocolate or 8 tsp Nutella)
- fats (for the mold)
- 2 tbsp sugar (for sprinkling)
Instructions
- 1. Heat the butter in the microwave for 2 minutes at 600 Watts.
- 2. Stir in the cold milk until the mixture is lukewarm.
- 3. Knead a soft yeast dough from the liquid and the specified ingredients.
- 4. Let the dough rise covered in a warm place (e.g., in a pot filled with warm water) until it almost doubles in size.
- 5. Shape the dough into a roll and cut it into 8 equal pieces.
- 6. Place either 1 teaspoon of plum butter, Nutella, or a piece of chocolate on each piece of dough.
- 7. Fold the dough over the filling and shape them into round dumplings.
- 8. Lightly grease a heat-resistant and microwave-safe baking dish (approx. 3 liters).
- 9. Place the dumplings in the dish and let them rise again for 20 minutes covered.
- 10. Heat the ingredients for the glaze in the microwave for 2 minutes at 360 Watts.
- 11. Stir the glaze well and pour it evenly over the dumplings.
- 12. Sprinkle 1-2 tablespoons of sugar over the dumplings.
- 13. Bake the dumplings at 190 °C convection and 600 Watts microwave for 8 minutes with the lid (do not preheat the oven).
- 14. Remove the lid and bake them for another approx. 10 minutes only in the oven (without microwave) until they are nicely browned.
- 15. Serve the warm dumplings with a thick vanilla sauce.
