🍽️ Spicy Potato Curry

Ingredients
- 600 g potato(es)
- 2 clove(s) garlic
- 2 small onion(s)
- 1 container crème fraîche (approx. 150 - 200 g)
- to taste harissa
- to taste curry powder
- to taste coriander powder
- to taste turmeric powder
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 small can(s) coconut milk (200 ml)
- to taste rosemary
- to taste salt and pepper
Instructions
- 1. Wash the potatoes thoroughly under running water.
- 2. Boil the unpeeled potatoes in a pot of water until they are tender.
- 3. Peel the cooled potatoes.
- 4. Cut the peeled potatoes into small cubes.
- 5. Finely chop the onions and garlic.
- 6. Heat the butter in a large pan.
- 7. Sauté the onions and garlic in the hot butter until they are translucent.
- 8. Stir the crème fraîche into the pan and mix well.
- 9. Deglaze the mixture with the coconut milk.
- 10. Add the tomato paste, sesame oil, and rosemary to the sauce.
- 11. Season the dish generously with the spices.
- 12. Let the sauce reduce slightly.
- 13. Add the potato cubes to the pan.
- 14. Cover the potatoes completely with the sauce.
- 15. Heat the curry through.
- 16. Sprinkle the finished curry with fresh parsley.
- 17. Serve the curry, ideally with Indian naan bread.
