Ingredients
- 125 g spinach leaves, frozen
- 4 egg(s)
- 50 g cheese (grated)
- 250 g smoked salmon
- 200 g herb cream cheese
- salt and pepper
- Parmesan
- a little lemon juice
Instructions
- 1. Thaw the spinach.
- 2. Cut the thawed spinach into smaller pieces.
- 3. Beat the eggs until frothy.
- 4. Mix the spinach with the egg mixture.
- 5. Add salt and pepper to the mixture.
- 6. Fold the cheese into the mixture.
- 7. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- 8. Sprinkle the parchment paper with Parmesan.
- 9. Spread the spinach-egg mixture evenly on the tray.
- 10. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
- 11. Bake the mixture in the oven for 10 minutes.
- 12. Let the baked mixture cool down.
- 13. Turn the cooled mixture over.
- 14. Ensure the filling side is now facing down on the Parmesan.
- 15. Spread herb cream cheese over the surface.
- 16. Distribute the salmon evenly over the cream cheese.
- 17. Drizzle the salmon with lemon juice.
- 18. Roll the mixture tightly.
- 19. Wrap the roll in plastic wrap.
- 20. Chill the roll for at least 6 hours.
- 21. Slice the cold roll.
- 22. Choose any thickness for the slices.
- 23. Serve the roll with baguette.
- 24. Garnish with horseradish cream if desired.
- 25. Plan for 2 to 3 pieces per person for an appetizer.
- 26. The roll will then be enough for 6 servings.
