🍽️ Fluffy Hamburger Buns

Ingredients
- 170 ml water (warm)
- 1 tbsp dry yeast
- 40 g butter
- 1 egg
- 435 g flour
- 40 g sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 egg white
- flour for the work surface
Instructions
- 1. Put dry yeast, butter, egg, sugar, salt, and flour into a large bowl.
- 2. Slowly stir in 150 milliliters of water.
- 3. Make sure the amount of water fits the dough.
- 4. Cover the bowl.
- 5. Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
- 6. Place the dough on a lightly floured work surface.
- 7. Knead the dough briefly.
- 8. Divide the dough into 8 equal balls.
- 9. Place them with some space between them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- 10. Make sure the surface is smooth.
- 11. Gently flatten the balls.
- 12. Cover the balls.
- 13. Let them rise again for 1 hour.
- 14. Whisk the egg white with 1 tablespoon of water.
- 15. Brush the risen dough balls with this mixture.
- 16. Preheat the oven to 185 degrees Celsius top and bottom heat.
- 17. Bake the buns for about 12 to 17 minutes.
- 18. Let the buns cool down completely on a wire rack.
- 19. Fill them according to your taste.
