Ingredients
- 200 g butter cookies
- 100 g butter (melted)
- 200 g sugar
- 3 tbsp cornstarch
- 600 g cream cheese
- 200 g low-fat quark
- 1 egg
- 150 g cream
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 250 g sour cream
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- 1 tsp lemon juice
Instructions
- 1. Crush the butter cookies into fine crumbs.
- 2. Thoroughly mix the cookie crumbs with the melted butter.
- 3. Press the mixture firmly onto the bottom of a baking pan.
- 4. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 5. Bake the crust for 5 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven.
- 6. Remove the crust from the oven and set it aside.
- 7. Stir sugar, cornstarch, cream cheese, and skimmed quark until creamy.
- 8. Add the egg, cream, and lemon juice to the mixture.
- 9. Stir everything slowly until smooth, but do not use an electric mixer.
- 10. Spread the cream evenly over the pre-baked crust.
- 11. Bake the cake for 45 minutes.
- 12. Remove the cake as soon as the edge is lightly browned.
- 13. Mix the glaze ingredients together in a separate bowl.
- 14. Spread the glaze evenly over the cake.
- 15. Bake the cake for another 5 minutes.
- 16. Let the cake cool down completely overnight.
