  2. 2. Wash the green asparagus and cut off the tough ends as well.
  3. 3. Boil the white asparagus in salted water for 15 minutes.
  4. 4. Add the green asparagus to the pot after 5 minutes of cooking time.
  5. 5. Wash the strawberries and cut them into halves or quarters.
  6. 6. Melt the sugar in a pan until it caramelizes.
  7. 7. Carefully deglaze the caramel with 100 ml of hot water and hot vinegar.
  8. 8. Be careful not to burn yourself on the rising steam.
  9. 9. Bring the sauce to a boil and let it simmer for 5 to 7 minutes.
  10. 10. Season the sauce with salt, pepper, and dried basil.
  11. 11. Stir the oil into the finished sauce.
