🍰 Fluffy Yeast Cake with Crumble Topping

Ingredients
- 500 g flour
- 100 g sugar
- 300 ml milk
- 100 g oil
- 1 cube yeast (fresh)
- 1 pinch(es) salt
- 400 g flour
- 250 g sugar
- 250 g butter
Instructions
- 1. Crumble the yeast into the lukewarm milk.
- 2. Stir the milk until the yeast is completely dissolved.
- 3. Cover the bowl.
- 4. Let the yeast milk rest in a warm place for 10 minutes.
- 5. Put the flour into a large bowl.
- 6. Add the sugar.
- 7. Pour in the oil.
- 8. Add a pinch of salt to the bowl.
- 9. Pour the yeast milk into the flour mixture.
- 10. Knead everything with the dough hook of the hand mixer into a smooth dough.
- 11. Cover the bowl with the dough.
- 12. Let the dough rise in a warm place for about 60 minutes until doubled in size.
- 13. Knead the dough briefly again.
- 14. Cover the dough.
- 15. Let the dough rest for about 10 minutes.
- 16. Roll out the dough.
- 17. Place the dough on a greased baking sheet.
- 18. Cover the dough to prevent a dry crust from forming.
- 19. Let the dough rise again for about 20 minutes.
- 20. Put the flour for the crumble into a bowl.
- 21. Add the sugar for the crumble.
- 22. Add the very soft butter for the crumble.
- 23. Knead the crumble ingredients into a crumbly mixture.
- 24. Brush the risen dough carefully with a little water.
- 25. Distribute the crumble topping evenly over the dough.
- 26. Turn on the oven.
- 27. Bake the cake at 180 degrees Celsius with hot air (preheated) for 30 minutes.
