🍰 Strawberry Cake with Sour Cream and Vanilla Cream

Ingredients
- 125 g sugar
- 0.5 packet vanilla sugar
- 2 egg(s)
- 60 ml oil
- 75 ml orange soda
- 125 g flour
- 1.5 tsp, heaping baking powder
- 300 ml cream
- 200 ml sour cream
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- 1 packet cream powder (Paradiescreme vanilla)
- 0.75 kg strawberries
- 0.5 packet glaze (red)
- to taste water
Instructions
- 1. The listed amounts are for a 26-centimeter springform pan. If you want to bake this on a baking sheet instead, simply double all the ingredients.
- 2. Whisk the eggs with the sugar and vanilla sugar. Now add the oil, orange soda, flour, and baking powder. Mix everything well, spread the dough in the parchment-lined pan, and bake it at 180 degrees Celsius (conventional heat) in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
- 3. Whip the cream with the cream powder and vanilla sugar for 3 minutes until the mixture is relatively firm. Gently fold in the sour cream. Spread the finished vanilla cream over the cooled base.
- 4. Wash the strawberries and remove the stems (halve large berries). Arrange them on top of the vanilla cream. Mix the glaze with water according to the package instructions, bring it to a boil, and pour it over the strawberries. Let the glaze set, and then the cake is ready to serve.
