Ingredients
- 1 head Savoy cabbage
- 200 ml cream
- 1 onion(s)
- salt
- sugar
- nutmeg
- a little butter
Instructions
- 1. Remove the hard core from the Savoy cabbage and cut the vegetable into small pieces.
- 2. Cook the light inner leaves (about one third of the head) together with the finely chopped onion, a pinch of salt, a little sugar, pepper, and grated nutmeg in the cream (or milk) until soft. Then puree the mixture finely.
- 3. Lightly salt and sweeten the darker leaves. Steam them with a little water and a piece of butter for about 5 minutes under a lid. Then mix the steamed vegetable with the Savoy cabbage puree.
