🍽️ Strawberry Vanilla Jam

Ingredients
- 1 kg strawberries (weighed after puréeing)
- 2 vanilla pod(s), including the seeds
- 1 lime(s)
- 1 packet jam sugar 2:1
Instructions
- 1. Remove the green stems from the strawberries.
- 2. Wash the strawberries thoroughly.
- 3. Puree the washed strawberries into a smooth mash.
- 4. Put the strawberry puree into a cooking pot.
- 5. Cut the vanilla pods lengthwise.
- 6. Scrape out the tiny black seeds and pulp from the pods using a knife.
- 7. Add the vanilla seeds and pulp to the pot as well.
- 8. Squeeze the juice from the lime.
- 9. Add the lime juice to the mixture in the pot.
- 10. Boil the mixture for about 4 to 5 minutes.
- 11. Use 2:1 pectin sugar and follow the instructions on the package exactly.
- 12. Immediately fill the hot jam into prepared jars.
- 13. Seal the jars tightly.
