🍽️ Garlic-Rosemary Dough Skewers with Bacon

Ingredients
- 1 clove(s) garlic
- oil (for greasing the skewers)
- 1 sprig(s) rosemary
- 1 package pizza dough
- 200 g bacon (in thin slices)
- 100 ml olive oil (or sunflower oil)
Instructions
- 1. Peel the garlic clove and press it through a garlic press.
- 2. Mix the pressed garlic with the oil.
- 3. Pluck the fine needles from the rosemary and add them to the garlic-oil mixture.
- 4. If you do not want rosemary needles in the dough, place the whole rosemary sprig in the oil only for flavoring.
- 5. Let the mixture infuse for two hours.
- 6. Lay out the pizza dough.
- 7. Cut the dough into strips from the long side.
- 8. Lightly oil the wooden skewers.
- 9. Brush the dough strips thinly with a little of the garlic-oil mixture.
- 10. Place one or two slices of bacon on the dough.
- 11. Wrap the dough with the bacon around the skewers.
- 12. Twist the dough tightly in the process.
- 13. Brush the skewers again with a little garlic-rosemary oil.
- 14. Place the skewers on the edge of the grill.
- 15. Avoid the center of the grill, as it is too hot there and the skewers would turn black otherwise.
- 16. Sizzle the skewers slowly on the grill.
- 17. Serve the skewers with salad and tzatziki.
