Ingredients
- 2 cups flour (sifted)
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 4 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 egg(s) (beaten)
- 1.5 cups milk
- 0.25 cups oil
- maple syrup
Instructions
- 1. Put all dry ingredients in a bowl and mix them.
- 2. Whisk the wet ingredients well in a second bowl.
- 3. Pour the liquid mixture over the dry ingredients.
- 4. Stir the batter briefly until it is just smooth and no large lumps are visible.
- 5. Heat some oil in a pan.
- 6. Add two tablespoons of batter to the hot pan to form one pancake.
- 7. Fry the pancakes on setting 2 of the electric oven.
- 8. Wait until bubbles form and pop on the surface.
- 9. Check underneath to see if the pancake is golden brown.
- 10. Flip the pancake to cook the other side.
- 11. Stack the finished pancakes into a tower of three to four pancakes.
- 12. Add syrup or your favorite toppings on top.
